Spring Cleaning
The time has come for a little portfolio sprucing. I've set some fun goals for myself this year which include sending out quarterly postcards, writing daily, allowing myself to play with my art more, sleeping real-people hours, and feeding my muse.
So far, so good! The bunny above is my first postcard, I've been assigning myself writing exercises, will be taking Uma Krishnaswami's Advanced Writing for Children Workshop next month (see Learning New Tricks - August 2005), and have been visiting the library and socializing with other local writers and illustrators more.
Sounds like a great year you have in store for yourself!
