Venti Non-Fat Two-Splenda Cappuccino

I love freelancing. I can choose my own hours, work in my pjs, listen to audio books, and I don't have to commute.

Unfortunately, I have a tendency to hole up in my studio and forget to come up for air. And much as I love my cyber-buddies, I miss interacting face-to-face with people.

Enter a shiny new laptop, wi-fi, and my local Starbucks (affectionately known now as my satellite office).

Suddenly, I can get my caffeine, fresh air, and people fix all at the same time, and I'm away from many of the distractions of home (read this as TV and books).

The only downside to my new routine? I have to wear shoes. :-P
