Turkey Revisited

We're still eating turkey. Now we're eating the one that REFUSED to thaw in time for Thanksgiving. I had to send my poor hubby out on Thursday morning to buy a fresh bird.

I sent all the leftovers home with my folks, and cooked the other turkey Sunday.

Anyone have any good leftover turkey recipes?

Doggonit

We have two geriatric dogs, Sparky and Buttons. Sparky is deaf and Buttons is blind. They're both really sweet dogs, but poor Buttons can NOT seem to figure out what going outside is all about.

I take her outside, and she stands by the door with her legs crossed until I let her back in. She comes in, demands her treat, and gives me this little attitude pose that says, "It's ABOUT time, I nearly had an accident out there!"
